Theme: “Democracy, Governance and the Lagos Spirit: A Century of Excellence”

The Lagos State Governor and Chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will on Tuesday deliver the Centenary Lecture of the Yoruba Tennis Club, YTC, in commemoration of the club’s 100th anniversary.

The lecture, themed _’Democracy, Governance and the Lagos Spirit: A Century of Excellence’_, will hold at the Greetings Hall, Yoruba Tennis Club, Onikan, Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, who is Vice Patron and a member of the Yoruba Tennis Club, will speak at a ceremony organized by the club, recognized as the oldest indigenous social club in Nigeria.

The Centenary Lecture forms part of a series of activities marking the 100th anniversary of the Yoruba Tennis Club, founded in 1928.

The event will be hosted by the Chairman of the Yoruba Tennis Club, *Chief Olawunmi Gasper*. Expected guests include members of academia, Civil Society Organizations, youth groups, students, members of sister clubs, and Heads of Diplomatic Missions.
