EMMANUEL AGANBI, CANAAN LAND GOLF COURSE AND COUNTRY CLUB BOT MEMBER, DIES AT 74

A member of the Canaan Land Golf Course and Country Club Board of Trustees (BOT), Elder Emmanuel Tundra Oludewa Aganbi, is dead.

Elder Emmanuel Aganbi died on April 25, 2026 in Abuja. He was 74.

The family of Stephen Aganbi in a statement in Koko on Thursday described the death of Elder Emmanuel Aganbi as a monumental loss not only to the Itsekiri Nation but to Nigeria as a whole.

‘’Elder Emmanuel Aganbi was a dependable father, trustworthy brother and a distinguished gentleman. He was imbued with gratitude, generosity, virtue, vision, ideas, spirituality and integrity’’

A statement issued by the Chief Executive Officer of Akogate Group, Hon Felix Aganbi, said the vacuum left behind by Elder Aganbi would be difficult to fill.

‘’Elder Emmanuel Aganbi stamped his unique leadership style in the family and the management of Canaan land Golf Course and Country Club’’

The statement by the family of the Second Republic politician, Bible Translator and prominent lawyer applauded the Canaanland Golf Course and Country Club BOT member for making great sacrifices, choosing the attitude of humility .and giving his best in the pursuit of set goals.

Elder Emmanuel Aganbi, according to the statement, will be remembered for his wise counsel, humility and kindness.

He will also be remembered for his unparalleled leadership, rib-cracking jokes, astuteness and enduring affection for children.

He will be laid to rest in his hometown, Koko on June 27, 2026.
